WTn52 Single barcode for login and password

In the 5250 emulator there is a barcode processing parameter that allows to dispatch parts of a barcode in several input fields.

This feature allows to create a single barcode containing un to 9 parts to be dispatched in the input fields.

The fields are accessed as 1 to 9 from top left to bottom right.

The parts of the barcode are prefixed by “\x” indicating the field number.

You have to generate a barcode with the following content:

“\1FIRST-FIELD-DATA\2SECOND-FIELD-DATA\3THIRD-FIELD-DATA”

[TN52_BARCODES]
MapBarcodes=Yes
EscapeForMap=..\

It is possible to configure the “\” prefix in another printable (as barcode) character.

Example:

to create a single barcode for a login and password you can enable this feature and create a barcode with the following content:

“\1DAVID\2MONDAY”

for an input as:

User . . . . . . . . : DAVID
Password . . . . . . : MONDAY
